Serbia are happy just to be here at the EC, and some things they've shown here are simply shameful. Just remember their tragic defeat against Italy, heavy defeat against France and their torture against weak Slovakia in which they had to save their win in the fifth set. That doesn't even change the fact that they had a much more difficult group than the Czechs who played a couple of great games and have left a better impression. I don't believe the Czechs were too worried by their defeat against Poland ans their main goal was the battle for the fifth place and the home court proved to be an additional advantage for them. If they were able to beat Belgium, Slovenia, take two sets against Turkey and play a tight match against Poland, they have to beat unconvincing Serbia. The Czechs are a mentally strong team and even if things don't go their way from the start, they won't give up. Details

Imotski were designated as one of the main relegation candidates even before the competition started. However, they didn't start so poorly but they showed all their weaknesses in last two rounds and conceded 7 goals in 2 games. HD also have two defeats in a row and are trying to find their game, but they are still a much better team than the visitors for today. This is one of the last few chances for the home coach Mladina to stay at the helm and he should not gamble it away. I believe the bookmakers are underestimating Pospisil who made it to the semifinal in Prague and even took a set from Schwartzman, a player who made his Top 100 status at such tournaments. He also won two decisive victories here, showing his good form. Truth be told, they were not too good, but he Czech demolished both Dima and Fortuna with just four games lost. Ungur is a good player, but not invulnerable.
