    This margin is a direct consequence of both teams' Euroleague games so far. But the group with Bayer, Turow and Fenerbahce has three offense-oriented teams that get the averages up, with Milano being the only defense-oriented team, despite not being at their last season level. Panathinaikos have had extremely high shooting percentages against Fenerbahce and Milano, but Obradovic knows they cannot keep that up. The fast paced Rethymno limited them to 79 points in a championship game. They scored 76 to Kifisija and 75 to Bayern in games with more normal shooting percentages for Panathinaikos. Obradovic knows his team needs good defense for successful games and that is precisely what PAO have been doing against Fenerbahce (limited to 73 points), Milano (63) with only Bayern managing to score over 80. Panathiaikos are tough in defense once again, which is crucial for the games that follow. The Greek team can't win this with 80-90 points - Barcelona will know how to stop Slaughter and his teammates, just like they stopped Goudelock last week.

    Barcelona have two overs in four games. 153 were scored in the Turow game, but under against Milano is more relevant since I expect a game similar to that one today. Barcelona managed to score a number of three pointers very early on to take the lead, but the game still finished at 141 points. 164 points were scored in their game over the weekend against the very fast-paced Gran Canaria, 153 in their match with Turow, 141 with Granco, and only 100 with Bruesa. Besides, Barcelona versus Panathinaikos is a basketball classic, with these two opponents meeting 7 times last two seasons. Only the last one of those seven finished with 146 points. The others were never over 130 (games ending in overtime not included). PAO have a new coach and most part of the team has changed, but their style has not changed. I think this margin is set at least 3 or 4 points too high. Details

    The preview says it all, even the title is enough. As I've often written, the conditions in Brescia are extremely quick, this is probably the tournament with the fastest surface in the entire season. Even lesser servers almost regularly score 80% of their first serve, while aces fly all over the place. Brown fired of 32 in his first two matches, and held on to his serve every time, just as Troicki did. The Serbian is the favorite in these conditions, I agree, but I cannot accept this margin in these circumstances. I believe it is at least a game too low. Details

    Although Real seem to be a run and gun offensive machine at first glance, regularly scoring 90-100 points, the truth is that the key to their game is defense. Their transition game starts there and makes the difference. Today this will be particularly important, as unlike Sassari or Nizhny, Efes will certainly not accept the chase, and this is one game Ivković will want to slow down as much as possible. Real played a similar away game vs Uniks, and showed they can adapt to that as well. With Krstić gone, Efes are much weaker on the offense and until their Serbian center returns it's unlikely they will go over 80 points against anyone. The rest of the team are primarily workers and they'll try to keep up through defense as long as they can today, but they cannot take care of Real's defense, at least not in such a way to score more than 75. Staying at 60ish is a much more realistic estimate for them. Details

    As expected, the bookies were influenced by Ricoh's result against RIK last round, but I don't think that game has anything to do with this one today. It was a total annihilation of Linnel's team in both segments of the game, which will force them to try and make amends today. Ricoh have been preparing for IFK for a while now, wanting to beat yet another favorite. Ricoh can do it only one way - with a tough defense and great goal keepers' performances, as the coach himself confirmed. That should work just fine since the visitors still probably won't be able to count on two great offense players Stenbacken and Lagergren, despite the fact they will be on the list today. IFK's offense is not at their full potential and I don't see a way for this match to end with more than 50 goals scored, especially with IFK more than capable of playing good and tough 6-0 defense.     Ivory Coast need and most likely will win this game, with the goal difference being completely irrelevant for them. It can be a 1-0, 5-4, 6-0 or a 7-1 win - it does not matter. They conceded at least one goal in each of their last 16 matches, just like against Sierra Leone in the first round and as faced Tanzania and Slavador, two teams that very close to Sierra Leone quality-wise.
    On top of that, Sierra Leone have Kamara - possibly the most productive African striker at the moment. That makes this bet a good choice. Alhassan Kamara scored 14 goals for the Swedish Orebro in the last 12 Swedish championship rounds. Details

    Marchenko won 90% of his first service points against Krajinovic, while Krajicek did the same against Delic. He ended the match with Delic firing 18 aces and not allowing the opponent a single break-point. It is another proof of how fast conditions in Brescia are - Krajicek is not a great server, he uses the fact he's left-handed more than anything else. He's doing great here and I think Marcenko is not as heavy a favorite as the odds suggest. Counter-handicap on the American is therefore a good option, but games over is even better since I think this margin is completely off. I think it can easily be covered in two sets, but I expect three to be played today. Details

    With all due respect, I believe Berdych's form is irrelevant here, though he is definitely not himself lately. Đoković has not lost indoors since 2012, and has been playing his best tennis this season since the Asian tour. Since Paris he's been fully focused and fighting for every game, as Nadal used to do on clay. An example: after kicking Wawrinka all over the second set, winning point after point, Wawrinka finally gets one. The crowd supports the Swiss as if he is the underdog qualifier here, and Đoković awaits on the return with full focus, as if it's the first break point of the match. He demolished both Čilić and Wawrinka, and can do that to anyone when he plays like this. Even Federer, the only man equal to him right now. These conditions don't favor Berdych at all, it's a slow surface, not a slugger's court. We saw that against Wawrinka where he won a few games. He is a one trick pony, so he depends on the way the opponents play. Everything the Swiss did to him, Đoković can do three times over. Best of all, Berdych admitted he did not do much against Čilić, and it's true, he did get most of it as a gift, while now he faces an opponent who wont give a point even with a double break. Yesterday Federer limited Murray to one game. I think this will only serve as added motivation for Đoković. This victory is too important as a confirmation of his Number 1 status and continuation of his dominance. This is now a personal race between him and Federer, while the Czech is just a bump in the road. Although I think -5.5 is a good bet, I'm going for under on games Only one match went to the third set here so far, and we spoke of stomping opponents every time (until Ferrer came in as a substitute). Berdych will have a hard time getting sets to a tie break, and at this margin this bet can go through even with one break per set. Details

    I cannot stay away from this. Yamal have tremendous momentum, as coach Vladimir Kuznetsov seems to have finally put things together after the team were searching for their game earlier this season. They're undefeated in the last seven games, and the last match was a win against the currently top ranked team of the championship, Sibiryak. Trust me, this will be much closer game than the odds suggest. The home Jekaterinburg team have a big name and tradition, but are far from their glory days. Another unfavorable factor is that they just came back from a difficult trip, the first round of the Eremenko Cup in Teplice, where they played three difficult 2x25min games in three days. A young team such as they must show that, at least through fatigue, if not through mental stress. My pick today are the rested away team who had time to calmly prepare and wish to continue a great series. Details

    The prevailing opinion is that the surface in Helsinki is very slow. On top of that, it allows good spin, which made all the players that like spin shots play better. One of them is Hanescu. He's dominant in rallies and able to win easy points on his service. He beat Bachinger yesterday, a player who is a much tougher challenge than Zopp. The Estonian advanced to QFs only because Nieminen played badly. His moving was off, which almost cost him the win. Hanescu will take advantage of such bad game. His game is consistent, which is why he recorded 10 wins in the last 4 tournaments. Zopp has not been at this level for a long time - this is his only 2nd challenger QF this season. Zopp struggled to beat Kontinen yesterday and Hanescu is two three levels better that. He's in shape, has good results, he's chasing Top 100 and these kind of conditions suit him perfectly. He's capable of beating Zopp convincingly and that kind of outcome would not be the least surprising for me. Details

    The Grand Prix used to be a much greater and better-quality competition, but lack of funding reduced it to the smallest number of participants ever. There are only two groups made up of 3 teams each, which is forcing Brazil to play every day. They beat Vietnam 8-1 yesterday in a game that was a warm-up for today, but I can't claim they've done brilliantly, the convincing win in spite. I'm not saying Colombia will beat them but a few things suggest counter-handicap to be the best choice. First of all, Brazil's sent their B team to play the Grand Prix. Their C team played the Intercontinental Futsal Cup in Kuwait recently and that team might even be better than this one, which is made up mostly of players from the Brazilian league. Falcao is in the line up, but he spends more time entertaining the spectators with his brilliant moves than scoring. Secondly, no matter how weak an opponent the Vietnamese are, Brazil had to use up some of their energy to beat them. Finally, Brazil would always have a 3 or 4-goal difference in the greatest competitions, even when with the best possible team. That is why I think we should take advantage of this. Sadly, I couldn't find any information regarding the Colombian team ahead of this game, but given the fact even a win by one goal would see Brazil get through to the next round if Colombia play at least a draw with Vietnam, I think this calls for higher stake. The bet is available with Marathon at +3 margin, which could also a good choice, but with lower stake. Details
