    Brugge seemed more rugged back in autumn than they do now, and they still conceded a goal in two out of the three home games played in Europe. They're currently on a six game streak with a goal conceded overall. Today they're in a comfortable position where even 0-2 gets them through, and though defense will be their priority, I doubt they'll manage to contain Aalborg routinely.
    The Danes showed they know how to attack in the first match, although they could have scored a few more. They scored in their only remaining spring match against Brondby, as well as the toughest friendly matches prior to that (2-4 with CSKA, 1-2 against Shakhtar, both stronger opponents than Brugge).     Both stats and players suggest this is a good choice. We'll start with the stats. Ramos and Almagro have played three head-to-head matches so far and Almagro won all three. Out of the seven sets, three ended in a tie-break, which cannot be a coincidence. When it comes to players, Almagro is extremely aggressive against opponent's service, he is not patient and that results in mistakes. Ramos is a leftie with a very tricky serve. Almagro is the better player with a more diverse serving but Ramos' serves are trickier, which won't agree with this opponent. On top of that, Nico is not in his best rhythm and will need more time to get back at his best level after the injury. I think Ramos can make this a close match. If they stick to tradition and play a tie-break like all of the three head-to-head matches, this bet will be good even in straight sets, which I would not be surprised with. Details

    Polpharma have been playing terrible defense lately, while Turow have the best offense in the league, which gives us a feast for the away team, who should easily impose their rhythm. Realistically speaking, Turow have the quality for twice this margin, and the only issue might be motivation, but after two league defeats in a row and elimination in the first round of the Cup last week, they should not lack motivation. Polpharma usually lose by 20 or more against serious teams (-19 against Rosa at home recently, -42 vs Torun away, -28 against Stelmet at home), and will be missing their main player from the first match against Turow, center Ravenel, who left the club (their best scorer with 18.5 points, and rebounder with 9.3 rebounds). Polpharma played a home friendly game against Torun on Saturday, and lost 102-71. I doubt that the home team defense can handle the opposed offense and I believe a decisive victory for Turow is worth covering with a medium sized stake. Details

    Zalgiris' captain went over this margin ten times during this Euroleague campaign, with seven other games in under (Real twice, UNICS twice, Barcelona, Efes, and Galatasaray once). All of those teams, except for Galatasaray play great defense. He finished with 5 and 2-for-6 from the floor and no free-throws in the home defeat to the Turkish side, which was just one out of three games (played 17 in Euroeague this season) in which he didn't have any free throws. The situation for an over is very good today. Zalgiris will have to do without center Guaitis, which means they are left with Javtokas at five. His age (34) suggests he won't be able to cope with this kind of a game, which means Songaila or Jankunas are expected to step in. Songaila is more likely to be given that task but Jankunas might get a few minutes as well when Zalgiris play small-ball. Anyhow, he will get plenty of time at power forward position (29 in the first head-to-head) and will have a favorable matchup. Erceg is not good in defense and Jankunas should be able to take advantage of that. The Turkish team are not playing good defense lately and that is just another argument for this bet. Some shops offer a half a point better margin. Details

    Kvitova struggled with Svitolina last week and then lost to Suarez in three sets. She struggled with Jankovic here and I'm sure things would be even worse if Jankovic wasn't injured. She never did well in Doha, has two QFs but of those matches ended in three sets. I don't see a reason why this shouldn't be another match with a lot of games. The surface in Doha doesn't suit her, and neither does the opponent. Suarez beat Kvitova in much faster conditions last week and I don't see any reason for us not to witness another dramatic match. The match between Suarez and Karolina from yesterday is a good sign. Karloina played a match at 23 games with Suarez that could have just as easily finished in three sets. I don't think this will be a one-sided win for either player, especially not for Kvitova. She has a lot of matches in three-sets and this margin is set to be broken even in straight sets. Details

    There are more reason for me to believe that Luparense will win this. They are the most successful Italian team and the defending champions are set to face a team in the 8th place of the table that is here only because they got points home. The more experienced and better team should win just because they are better and more motivated. Fabrizio are here to learn and since only one game will be played, there will be no chance for making amends. Luparense want to succeed after failing at Fustal Cup and Winter Cup. Anything but reaching final in the Italian Cup would be another failure. They were the better team in both head-to-head matches this season. They won 6-0 home and played a 1-1 draw away. Miarelli, Nore, and Mauricio are questionable at Luparense but all three are expected to play. Leandrinho is out at Fabrizio and De Luce questionable. Both are starters and that only makes me trust in the defending champions more.

    For those of you who want to be sure I recommend the DNB option if it shows up in the meantime, because the game is taking place very early. Details

    I've seen a lot of Karlovic's matches this season and I am simply amazed with his game. But Acapulco is not Delray Beach. He won all five matches in straight sets last week but he won't be able to play the same kind of game here. He won the third set 6-2 here and things could have just as easy end differently. He saves a total of 5 break points. I had this margin yesterday but there was no knowing how Gabashvili would do because he's been having shoulder problems for week now. Dusan likes these conditions. He's been in South America for weeks and he's in Top 100 for a while now. I trust Lajovic, he made a comeback here and he's been a tough opponent for Ivo back when he was 20 and 22. He's now more experienced and mentally stronger, he forced a third set against Lopez and Klizan this season and played 5 sets against Stakhovski. I know he will fight hard and it's only a matter of time before Karlovic is back at 24.5 games, no matter who the opponent is. This one is two games lower and we can't miss out on that. Details

    Mariana does not stand a chance in this match. She recorded three losses in the last 3 weeks, all three to players with powerful forehand. The first one was Haddad Maia, then Zacaris and finally Bodgan, who outplayed her in rallies. Sharapova didn't open this tournament in the best way but she adjusted to conditions and the surface and better performance is expected. Things seemed much better in the second set against Rogers and I expect her to show how good she is today. She should sail through this tournament and I don't see any reason for her to hold back today. She will have a break chance in each game while winning her games easily. Duque-Marino won't be able to handle Sharapova's shots and I'm sure she can't get more than 4 games today. Details

    Rafa is wounded beast, and in my opinion, that is what makes him most dangerous. I don't like talking about motivation because they all play for money, points, and prestige but Nadal wants to make amends after the bad match in Rio. He pride is hurt and he is one of those players who destroy the opponents early in the tournament to save energy for later. I believe he'll be looking to crush the opponent for more than one reason today. The first one is the failure in Rio, the second one the fact he realized that he's getting tired faster, which means he'll want to finish this as soon as possible. And finally, he said he wants to play well from start to finish. The difference in quality is huge and Arguello is talking about a hope for a win, but that's probably more just to deal with anxiety ahead of this match. He is 0-10 ATP level so far and that's because of nervousness. He is to play Nadal now and this is the kind of pick that depends on one person only, on the one we're betting one. In that case, this is a great choice. Nadal will do anything to restore confidence and that's enough for me to play the 17.5 games under. Details

    No matter the style of game Orlando have since coach Borrega took over, I think the margin is a bit too high here. Orlando are completely focused on protecting their rim, which resulted in their opponents scoring 92.6 points in the last 6 games. Tonight, they are to face Miami who finished with a 100 or more points in 4 out of the last 8 games. But that happened against the teams having a horrible season (the Wolves, Philadelphia, and the Knicks twice). Miami struggled against any half-good defense and I think the same will happen today. Miami had great flow and efficiency against Philadelphia lead by Dragic but Orlando are not Philadelphia. The coach is pushing tough defense at Orlando and they have been a completely different team the last 3 games. I think Miami will have a tough time tonight as they don't have a typical shooter. Vucevic of Orlando will be faced with Whiteside and he could struggle too, while Oladipo will have a tough task against Wade. Details
