A margin way too high in my opinion, probably influenced by the 200 point game played in Novgorod a few weeks ago. However, a game with such shooting percentages is unlikely to occur again, moreover, that will serve as an extra warning for Ivković and I feel it's much more likely that we'll se a match like the first two in the regular period of the league, which ended at 142 and 126 points. This is above all one of the key matches in the battle for the quarterfinal, Efes are in a very dangerous position and a defeat would put them very far behind the best eight. A defeat would practically mean goodbye to all hopes for Nizhny, as they have yet to face CSKA and Unicaja at home plus play an away game at Piraeus, meaning it would be unrealistic to expect them to win all three. Ivković said it all saying that his primary goal is to improve defense, an ailing segment in their past few games, and they will focus fully on that here. They can win only if they play proper, disciplined defense, as confirmed by the home match against Kutxa three weeks ago, which was also the only of their ten home games in European competition that went above this margin. Nizhny has slightly higher numbers, ranging close to this margin, but Rochestie pointed out this will be a close and physical match. Keeping in mind how important it is, I see no way for it to go over 160 points. Details

Staky started the season really well, losing only to better players, while beating those worse than him, realistically speaking. He even managed to win matches he was losing, making comebacks and successfully closing. He rarely loses his serve, has good focus and the conditions here suit him well. Tim started the season in a so-so manner, focusing mostly on challengers, where he was quite successful, but still lost to players he should not have lost to. He often loses focus, which will be a big problem against quality players. Staky is still a better player in all segments of the game, able to keep playing at a higher level for a longer period, he is more creative and makes fewer unforced errors. He can also win more 'easy' points on his serve and put stronger pressure on his opponents serve. Since I don't see how Tim can threaten Staky, and since his game will have a lot of ups and downs and will stagnate with time both due to lesser quality and frustration, I expect Stakhovsky to win this decisively. Realistically speaking, these players belong to two different quality classes, and the realistic odds are 1.35 on Staky, tops. This is why I expected to go with a higher stake. Details

Isner said it himself. If he could choose any court on the tour for the match against Djokovic, it would be Indian Wells. Here the conditions are perfect. He mentally reached the bottom in Davis Cup, and then he beat Malzer and Anderson who are uncomfortable for him. He didn't even offer them a single break.point, and now he's full of confidence. He played twice against Djokovic here. Once he won, the other time he lost, but both matches went into the third set. The high ball bounce and the slower conditions pull out the best from Isner. As for Djokovic, I would play this same bet even if he kicked Ramos. He struggled with him, made a lot of errors, but that doesn't mean a lot for this bet. It's very hard to return on Indian Wells to tall servers. Djokovic felt that ore than once, and this year he was beaten by Karlovic. The last three meetings went into the third set, and Isner managed to take two sets into overtime in Davis Cup. It all points to more games. Details

Even though it's not really smart to predict anything in a duel between the two leading teams, I think the Hawks are a bit underestimated here. True, the Warriors dominate at home, but I think the Hawks have enough quality to celebrate even tonight. Coach Budenholzer's team did it a month and a half ago at home. Golden State won't be able to count on Thompson this time, and he created the most problems for Millsap and his team. This will allow the Hawks to give a bit more time to Curry. With Curry covered, the Warriors offense will be quite weakened. On the other hand, coach Bud won't be able to rely on Korver, but I think Thompson's absence is a much bigger handicap for the Warriors than Korver's for Atlanta. True, Kyle often decided the games with his series of three-pointers, but Atlanta showed they play the system, and not rely on individuals. Korver's absence should be covered by Bazermore and Schroder. The latter one showed a huge potential. Either way, I think that the Hawks have enough quality in Teague, Millsap, Carroll and the well-rested Horford, and they will seriously damage the Warriors. Especially considering that Thompson is out. Details

I respect Kokkinakis, a lot, but he can't always win with his eagerness. Rosol had 2-0 in sets and a match-serve in Davis Cup. He turned it around. Here, he won in two thriller endings, and he played two matches in five sets in Australian Open. He likes drama, but so far, he doesn't have width in his game to support that. It was enough for Monaco who just kept the ball in. He had to defeat him a few times before the final win. Tomic has been consistent and mature this season. With that, he can easily get to Top 20, and better. There's not one of his defeats this season that I can hold against him. Young is tricky because he's resistent to Tomic's mixes, and all the others were top players. Kokkinakis can't serve like Muller, for example. To be honest, I didn't think Tomic can defeat Ferrer. He was brilliant in the end, and played cleverly and with measure. He defeated the Spaniard mentally, and not many can do that. I remember their match from the beginning of the year. Kokkinakis was rising, and very self-confident. He didn't even get a break-ball. He couldn't deal with Tomic, and that broke him in the second set. The more experienced Australian defeated Ferrer and Ćorić in straight sets here, and those two are big fighters. Now he'll face a third, but that's the biggest strength Kokkinakis has. On the other hand, Tomic won the last ten sets, and counting the Davis Cup, he was very professional on the court. When he's like that, and focused, he's simply a better player. With more options, and mine impression is that he knows exactly what he has to do against the 18-year-old. Details
