    Lacko is 3-8 this season. He beat El Mihdawy, Urbania and needed 5 sets for Gonzales at AO: That means, he did nothing worth mentioning. He went on to record 4 defeats after Melbourne and then lost to an American who is not in Top 300 last week. Lacko said he's to become a dad soon, which explains the crisis. Kudla is forcing ATP qualifications, which is why he's not Top 100 player even though he deserve to be one. I saw his match against Muller last week. He was limited to 4 games as he lost motivation after missing out on some good chances. Losing a set and getting a break down to a great server means things are pretty much settled. Kudla might not have brilliant results either, but he beat Lacko a month ago, having converted 3 out of his 4 break points, while saying most of Lacko's break points. It seems the Slovak is not completely focused on tennis and Kudla will take advantage of it. He's not a hard-hitter like most Americans but he's smart and will see this opportunity. Details

    Both teams need this win in their bid to reach playoffs, Oktyabr especially, as a loss here would keep them far away from reaching the goal. The game in Minsk was a great warning and I think we'll see a much better and tougher Oktyabr. They are more disciplined and have a different philosophy since Bauermann took over. I think they are much better than the Estonian team and deserve to make it into playoffs. The team from Volgograd underwent many changes in 2015, which resulted in a decline. They got rid of some players who didn't fit into Bauremann's concept and acquired some new ones. Kalev is beyond any doubt the most pleasant surprise of the season. They were expected to be bottom table at season's end but instead fight for the playoffs. I think they don't have enough quality for the playoffs. They have 3 overs in 13 home games, with their games against direct rivals finishing as unders Samara 75, Astana 63, Enisej 66, Nymburk 77, Bisons 70 in regulation time, with Riga 88 as the only exception). They scored 50 against Lokomotiv in the second half when everything was settled already and beat the fatigued Nizhny in a brilliantly productive game. This will be a whole different story, they will face a good defense and each point will matter here. The total under is a good choice as well, but I think Oktyabr are a better team, capable of scoring well over 80 points against any opponent. They will be extra motivated after the failure in Minsk and I think Kalev will have a very tough time reaching 80 or more points. Details

    The margin set at this game is not realistic. It is based on an assumption that Fenerbahce will finish with well over 80 points, which does not often happen in the Turkish league because Obradovic does a lot more reshuffling, giving the chance to players who don't get in Euroleague as much. Fenerbahce have a much more important game in Euroleague against Malaga in three days, meaning Obradovic will again be careful about not tiring his key players today. The two h2h games with TED of this season finished at 143 and 139 points. I don't see a reason or a possibility for this one to end at 20 points more. Fenerbahce have 41 under in 57 games at 161.5 margin, away 18 out of 24. In the Turkish league, they played 16 unders out of 22 home games and 7 out of 10 away games. TED normally record overs, but playing Fenerbahce, on of the top defenses in Euroleague, and other Turkish teams is not the same. TED finished with 81 last week in Istanbul against Efes but Fener won't allow that. New Americans should have their debut at TED today and it's not realistic to expect brilliant performances this early. TED have only 4 overs in 11 home games, staying under this margin under all the top teams (Darusafaka 152, Galatasaray 142, Banvit 159,Efes 136). And lastly, Fenerbahce played the last two championship games horribly, lost against Galatasaray and beat Istanbul luckily after the opponents miss the shot for a win. It's high time for a serious performance that is important for them since all the top table teams lost and Fener have a chance to even further away from Efes and Darusafaka. Details

    Vancouver yesterday made a huge job by winning against Kings in an away match, but that won't mean a thing unless they don't confirm those two points today against the desperate Arizona. In the fight for the playoffs, Vancouver still stands a chance in the West, especially after beating Kings so I expect an even bigger dose of self-confidence today and a new win against Arizona because that's going to be a huge step towards the playoffs. I said everything about Arizona in the last time when I played for Colorado, that's a team who only find this year's draft important, they traded two of their best players, Hanzal and now Erat are out, and they were very important players; their scores are desperate to say the least. They're in a 7-game losing run, and they have a total of 17 of them in the last 18 matches. What's interesting is that the only team they've beaten were Vancouver, but today I think the Canucks will build that into their revenge. The Canucks are looking powerful with their five clean wins in the last seven matches, and against strong teams. I trust them today. Their shape and quality are on their side, and when you add the motive, then it's a great bet on Canucks whom winning means a lot against Arizona who lost 15 out of the last 16 matches at home, out of which 13 were in regular time.
