    I don't like betting on teams which need wins because that is the worst argument for a bet but both teams need this win so I can cross that out as a reason. I don't see how Murcia can be the favorites away today. Estudiantes became a much tougher team since the new coach took over and Pumprle and Simpson joined the team. They have 4 wins in the last 6 games, among them wins over Bilbao and Unicaja, both of whom are better than Murcia. On the other hand, Murcia lost 7 out of the last 9 away games, all of them rather convincingly. The only wins they have happened when they had crazy shooting and hit over 90 points. Estudiantes didn't allow over 90 points all seasons long, not even to Real or Laboral. I don't see them allowing more than 80 in a game this important. Murcia struggle with such games a lot and simply cannot win them. We could see Martin make a comeback at the home team today which could bing the crucial mental upper hand. If I were the one setting the offs here, Estudinates would not be at over 1,60 which is why I need to go with these odds with higher stake. Details

    Oostende weren't impressive in the second stage of the championship and didn't play as well as they can. Coach Gjerga had a tough time motivating the players since it was obvious before the 1st round that they will open the playoffs in top spot. Still, it's evident that they prepared form for the playoffs. They are on a 4-game winning run. The playoffs are about to start which is what they were waiting for for two months. I'm sure they will have enough motivation here. Their opponents Liege lost 9 straight head-to-head meetings, three of them this season. The last h2h finished with a 9-point advantage for Oostende, who were were focused on FIBA Europe Cup and the Liege game came in a bad moment. Oostende rarely lose home and they have the best offense and the best defense in the league, while Liege have one of the worst defensive ends in the league. They allow 88 points on average and win rarely home. They recorded only 3 wins in the whole season and we cannot forget about the second stage, which they spent in spots 6-11. That means they didn't play top teams and lost all 5 games away. Liege don't have many players to choose from and it all comes down to come Americans who don't really play defense. I think that kind of a game cannot work in the playoffs. Details

    The second semifinal of this league is to take place at Signal Iduna Park in Dormund. They won this championship while Munchen finished as runnerups in the Sud/Sudwest league. Hoffenheim won the top spot there. The convincing 0-5 defeat in Munich shows they are much worse than Hoffenheim. They also lost the last championship game last Saturday to Ingolstadt 1-3. Coach Steinberger says he will go with a lineup similar to the one from that game, which means he cannot count on top scorer Heinrich (23-19) and midfielder Gambos (18-5) who hasn't been on the team from late last season. Dortmund's amateurs have no such problems. Two of them even had their debuts on the pro team Passlack (22-17 and Pulisic (12-6). The latter managed to score 2 goals there. Both will start this game.
    The visiting coach says they are the underdogs here given the quality their opponents have. With Paslack and Pulisic on the team, Dortmund should win this.

    It seems like everything is pretty straightforward here. BSV were 11-7, 13-8 and 15-8 in the first halves. They now play for the semis and a draw or a defeat would see them not reach it. Sonderjyske are written off and come here without top middle back Kjeldgaard. They traditionally have big problems with BSV's defense. I expect the same to happen today.     I think Darussafaka will not go full throttle in this game and that is why I'm going with this- Coach Mahmuti says he needs to rest some players for the playoffs, while power forward Harangody said they are focused on the playoffs even at practice sessions. That means their minds are already somewhere else, not on this game which is not important for them at all. They can afford to choose their opponents in the potential semis. A defeat for the visitors today woulds see Efes finish top table and if Harangody and others go past Banit, they will face today's opponents in the semifinals. That is a better option than meeting Fener, who would finish top table if Darussafaka beat Efes. It took me a while to decide whether to go with a sure win or a handicap but this is my reasoning behind this decision - if Darussafaka decide to tank this, they will not do it to lose by 2-3 goals. Besides, the home team have motivation because top table spot brings them home court advantage throughout the playoffs. We have 3-0 in head-to-head matches. They won the EL game here by 13 points. On top of everything, Efes got better after Ivkovic left and seem more serious, mostly in defense which is very important. They have enough talent to hit enough points anyway. Details

    Lisicki covered this handicap only twice in 8 defeats on clay court last season. Once she lot by 3 games exactly. Looking at the last 5 years, that record is 5-1-16, which means she didn't cover the handicap 16 times. Gavrilova is 8-2-2 in her wins of this and last season, and 9-2-3 the last five years. Given the conditions in Rome and watching Kasatkin and Pliskova match yesterday, I was pretty sure I was going to go with this tip. Kasatkina is Gavrilova's level, Karlolina is one level above Lisicki. Karlolina struggled a lot against the tough Kasatkina and I don't see any reason for Lisicki not to struggle like that as well. The German is talking about confidence but she simply has none. Seven straight games she lost to Suarez says all about it. She will have it even tougher here. Gavrilova did great in Madrid and lost to Chirico, who is better. But the manner in which she won the first three matches was really impressive. She did everything Lisicki struggles with. Expecting the German to do anything here is really not normal. The German was never great on clay court and she never went past the second round in 4 seasons in Rome. She has only 4 games in the previous match against Gavrilova this season. Granted, that was early in the season but that says something as well. Things will be even more difficult for her on clay court. The German didn't do much since the start of the season. She is still struggling and making a lot of mistakes. She struggles with every segment of the game and the confidence she is talking about simple doesn't exist. Details
