    I saw the first game in Lithuania which finished at 72-72. Lithuania won the overtime. Pau Gasol didn't play so Spain had a lot of problems defending Valanciunas as well. Valanciunas will be in more trouble today since the Spaniards confirmed this morning that Gasol will play in Malaga.
    My pick for this game is Lithuania at under 36,5 in the first half. They hit 34 by half time in Lithuania when Kalnietis hot 3 3s in the last minute and a half. Yes, 3 three pointers which got Lithuiania to 34 points. Spain played very good defense, Lithuania are a hard-working team with unimpressive shooting. They still lament losing players like Jasikevicius, Macijauskas, karnisovas and so on...
    Spain are known for opening the preparation period slowly but they play top-level defense. They played 17 friendly games this last and two summers ago. They conceded over 36 points only twice by half time in those 17. Once to Venezuela last summer, once to 40 to Croatia and then 24 in the second half. Lithuania are better than most of their opponents but on top of limiting them to 34 in Lithuania the other day, they also limited them to 33 in Euro final last year. Now when both coaches make a lot of changes and Kazlauskas gives time on the floor to kids like Grigonis, Ulanovas, Kariniauskas, Domantas Sabonis and so on, it's realistic not to expect brilliant shooting.     Sorribes recorded only one Top 100 win on clay this year, against Cristeja in February (Romanian's 8th match in 12 days). She convincingly lost all other matches against Top 100 players this year, and in straight sets. From the start of season she lost to: Vesnina by 4 games, Bertens by 5, Stosur by 8, Pavlyuchenkova by 10 and Baczinskzky by 7 last week. Sorivbes lost this year to Lim and Kostova by 6 games as the favorite, to Krunic by 3, to Arcangioli by 4, to Tomova and Vikhlyantseva as the favorite.
    Larsson, on the other hand, mostly lost to Top 70 players this year (6/7), Her only defeat outside that circle was to Goncalves. On the other side, Larsson's ten wins on clay this season are against players outside the Top 100. In those ten matches, she lost a set twice, all others she won in straight sets. She defeated Dominguez Lino by 4, Vekic by 8, Hsieh by 4, Mattek by 6, Sadikovic and Peterson by 5.
    In her three matches here, Sorribes showed good stats on return, but her serve is bad. In three matches, she lost her serve 19 times, made 26 double faults, and gave 49 break chances. With such performance, her chances against Larsson are minimal, and it is unlikely anything will change over night. Larsson has not lost a set in six back-to-back matches here (this and last year), and she convincingly defeated all her opponents last year. Hogenkamp by 8, Friedsam by 5, Strycova 7, Putintseva 6 and Barthel in the final by 4. She broke the ice here against Peterson, she limited her compatriot to only two games in the second set, and we should expect her to start strong from the start today. Details
