    Aquas really play great defense home. That sees them stand up to a lot better teams than themselves. They conceded 22 to Madeira, 22 to Benfica, 30 to Sporting, who have by far the greatest offensive potential in the league, 24 to Braga, 26 and 27 to Porto and recently 30 to Madeira, which is a problem to some extent but Madeira go all out in offense and play really fast. Benfica do not have that game style.
    Benfica, on the other hand, do much worse away than home. They aren't doing great, especially in offense. They scored 25 against Braga in Supercup, 18 against Porto, 22 against Aquas in the first h2h here, 25 against Sporting, 30 and 37 against Madeira (as I already said, Madeira games are not relevant here), 25 against Avanca who are close to Aquas in quality, 23 against Braga and 27 against Porto who recently don't play the kind of offense they played earlier in the season. They scored 28 in EHF the Anaitasuna game which fell apart, 23 against the Cocks and 22 against Melsungen. This season they scored 27 and 28 in h2h games. As I said, they do much better home. Last year, they got limited to 24 here. Benfica won't be close to 30 today, Aquas can limit them easily and that is why I'll go with top stake here. Details

    I'm going with the same tip at BSV. They will not slip this time. Last weekend they were without three players and still had a 2-3-point lead in the second half. They beat Holstebro before this and are to decide on their own faith. Damgaard and Oris Nilesen are back, the important defense player Jensen is on the team. They are now the team that beat Kiel away and played close games with Veszprem and Flensburg. Holstebro beat Mors by 7 here, BSV had the lead for about 90 percent of the game against Hostebro on Wednesday and ended up winning. They will win this too. Mors have -7 Holstebro and -7 Ribe in playoffs, apart from that surprise agianst BSV. Earlier in the season, they have -11 Skjern, +3 BSV (BSV had a 3-goal lead and attack 49 minutes into the game, their approach was not right because of CL), Holstebro -1, Aalborg -10 in the league, Kolding -5, Aalborg in the Cup-7... I expect 4-5 for the defending champions here. Details

    Stal's average home is 143,7 points. They went over this margin in 11 out of 15 times home (over with Slupsk, Turow at 153 and Kutno and Krosno) Stelmet average 147,9 points home (the game with Kutno was recorded as a 20-0 win for the opponents). They got limited to under this margin 10 times away, went over 5 times against either fast-paced or unpredictable teams and Tarnobrzeg, whom they trashed by 40. When it comes to meetings with tougher teams, they went: Koszalin 125 points, Rosa 120 in regulation time, Anwil 149 (Anwil have one of the best defensive ends, as well as offensive). Their first meeting with Stal in Zielonoj Gori finished at 141 points. Stal finished with Anwil at 146 points, with Koszalin at 125, Rosa 120 in regulation time. Stelmet are not at the defensive level from last season but they have the third best defense in the Polish league. Stal are right there, both teams allow less then 72 points, only Rosa are better in that segment. Stelmet are close to top teams when it comes to offense but not many opponents did well on the offensive end against them this season. The best offense Turow got limited to 71, second best Torun at 63, fourth best Szczecin at 69. This is a very important game. Stelmet are trying to reach spot 1, there isn't room for error because they need to get one win more than Anwil in the last two rounds if they want to finish in the top spot before playoffs. Stal are trying to stay in spot 3, Torun in spot 4 are right there, just like Rosa in spot 5. Details

    Plzen have been dominant in the Czech Republic for years now, especially when it comes to the most important games. They lost just one out of 24 playoff games in the last 3 seasons. Given how they're playing now, that incredible record should only get better.
    They proved to be better than Lovosice in both games last weekend to win by 6 and 8. They could have won by more goals had it not been for rotations or holding back. It was +8 by half time in both games. Lovosice didn't seem good enough for that challenge at any point in the game. One other reason for this tip is Boucek's injury. He is their key offensive player and they have no proper substitute for him. Also, they will be without key defender Landa today as well. Like that, Lovosice are not top of the league and even with those two players, Plzen are at least 5 goals better.

    Lovosice now have home court advantage and the audience but I cannot just ignore these odds because of that. Plzen are well-experienced, do great under pressure. Last season, they came here with a 2-0 lead when Lovosice had Boucek and Landa. Plzen were weaker than now and still won 28-20. Looking at a more recent meeting, Plzen won by 7 in regulation time here two months ago. The second half finished at 16-4.
    Easy wins in Brno and jicin were also good for this bet. Some earlier defeats for Plzen away when they were not complete mean nothing here. That often happened to them in earlier seasons too. When it's important and it is now, they don't make mistakes.
    Lovosice beat Karvina three times easily here but that team is horrible away and cannot be compared to Plzen quality-wise. They lost to Frydek and Jicin when complete here. I think that kind of a team cannot make this complicated for Plzen. They will confirm another great final today. Details

    Astra's coach Sumudica was furious after learning when the first semifinal Cup game is taking place. He called it a scandal, adding that only his team was hurt by that decision since they have the important semifinal match only three days after this game. He is right, the other 3 teams have it much easier. Their semifinal opponents Poli played their game on Thursday, meaning they will have a 5-day break.

    It was said more than once this season that the Cup is Astra's priority, which is understandable since out of the 4 teams that stayed in the competition, only CSU Craiova are from the elite part of the table. But Astra beat them 3-1 last week away. Before that, they recorded 3 defeats home in championship games. (Vitorul home 1-2, Steaua away 0-3 i Dinamo Bukurešt home 1-2. The easiest way for them to reach Europe is through Cup, which is why they will not field the best lineup today.

    Cluj are in spot 4 but their ambition doesn't stop there. They are close to DInamo and Vitorul in the table. Three points from this game would give them a chance to get close to the top, especially taking into consideration the fact they have 3 championship games left and that they play the next two home against teams they normally beat.

    Since the home coach said he would not be fielding his top players here, Cluj got an unexpected chance to get a new win. Astra lost to Cluj all three times (1-5, 1-2, 2-3) and will not go with the best they have today. Details

    The Argentines play nearly as many games as the NBA teams. Regular season is coming to an end, Hispano are in a great race with Boca Juniors to stay in the league. They are currently in the penultimate spot in the Southern Division, two wins ahead of Boca but with a bad h2h record. There are 8 games left, including this one. They will not face Boca again. La Union Formosa are in the other division and are one of the rare teams with nothing to fight for. They cannot reach the playoffs, cannot get relegated. During the season, the important player Jose Vargas left the team and they didn't acquire anyone instead, probably because they know nothing can change anyway. Their results lately are in accordance with that too. They lost 10 straight away games and have 2-16 in the last 18 away games. They lost to Hispano home by 10, back when Vargas was still on the team. Hispano hired a new coach since. Capelli had his debut on the 23rd of February. They lost in over time but in March, they won 5 straight games (including the one of April 1st). Among those wins is the one over top table San Lorenzi. They managed to get ahead of Boca and acquired two players from this league who have fought to avoid relegation before (Zilli, Ferreyra). Before that, they acquired O'Bannon (former Zvezda, Rethymno, Rishon LeZion, Lukoilu, Haifa player). This team is now better than it used to be when it beat La Union by 10 away. Capelli wanted progress in defense, which he got. Other than handicap, a good option here is team under at visitors (La Union went over 76 once in the last 6 away games (77 in the 102-77 defeat). La Union cannot wait for the season to end, Hispano are fighting for survival here and cannot afford a slip, especially since Boca won 2 out of last 3 and are now breathing down their necks. Details
