    In a clash between two offensive teams that will present a game with a lot of possession and running, I pick Israel's team over. Majority of their players played at the U20 in Finland last year and left a good impression, defeated Finland 81-72 at the start, then France 88-66, lost to Spain 90-71, and round of 16 89-73 to Germany, later defeated Belgium 93-89 and lost to Sweden and Serbia. All of their defeats were against physically strong teams.
    They had their preparations in Italy, and at a tournament there they defeat Greece 81-68, Italy 74-66, Ukraine 93-79. Greece and Italy are defensive teams, while Ukraine are similar to Latvia.
    Israel were in the B division two years ago, lost the final to Sweden and were regularly at around 90 points, but that is less relevant.
    Latvia are coming here without a lot of players, they had to change their playing style, they are betting everything on speed, possession, and we could have seen that at the tournament in Istanbul where they conceded 99 to Lithuania, Turkey 97, Serbia 88, and 74 to Montenegro and 67 to Russia, two offensively weaker teams.     I bet on the overall under of 140.5 points in this game. Slovakia have not been efficient this year, they scored 58 on average in preparation, and their most efficient game was against Hungary where they scored 67 points. They scored 48 and 49 against the Czech Republic, 60 and 61 against Poland, and 67 and 63 against Hungary.
    Hungary are missing their top player, Ihring, who was their top scorer and assistant in the team two years ago. Slovakia are also missing their 4th top scorer from the mentioned tournament, Kuzmiak.
    Azerbaijan scored 56 against Russia yesterday, but even though the Russians are defensively better than Slovakia, I don't see Azerbaijan going over 70 points. They basically played with 6 players yesterday, and they will not rush anything today.
    This is an important game for both teams, since they are weaker in their group, and their only chance for the win is in this game.
    The realistic margin is much lower than the offered 140.5 points and we should make this bet. Details

    I expect this to be an efficient game. Neither team stands basically no chance of going through, they are still acquiring players and building the team for next season. This is just a test game for them. Since both teams are from the same league, they will both try and win this.

    Annan had the highest goal average in the Scottish fourth division (3,31 goals per game). Their manager is not in charge at Clyde. He will play to win all the cup games. They played 3 test games and 3 overs since he took over. The team wasn't inefficient last season either, far from it (3,14 goals per game). We don't know what kind of approach will Anann's manager have since he has no previous coaching experience but they played 2 overs in 3 test games so far (both 5 goals).

    Last season, these teams met 4 times: 2-3, 2-3, 0-1, 2-1. Both games Clyde hosted were overs.

    Their results from the League Cup last season saw them record 4 overs in 8 games. That is why we need to be a bit careful. Clyde recorded following results in 4 league cup games last season: 1-2, 0-1, 1-1, 2-1. Annan had 1-2, 0-2, 1-3, 2-0.

    The only problem here are last season's league cup results. However, the home manager wants to win this which means they will attack.     The bookmakers are under the influence of Ireland's win over Moldova, but I am not impressed by their performance, they actually struggled against Moldova's defense. They rarely use pick-and-roll, but insisted on slash-and-kick or flex cuts to get space, but it was not very good, even thought they scored 100 (90 shots from the floor, 2/17 three pointers). Today they will face Portugal who defeated Hungary yesterday after overtime, after they were down by 10 before the final quarter. Even though they are not main favorites for the podium, they are not far from it. Portugal are defensively better than Ireland, and have more solution in the offense. Their centers are not technically great, but they get the job done. At last year's championship in Khalkida they defeated Ireland 64-38, and Ireland are even weaker now, while Portugal are better. Ireland were 22nd at the U18 championship two years ago, and six players from that team are here. Of the players will double-digit playing time, only Eion Rockall (10 min, 2.8 pts) and Ryan Leonard (20,1 min, 7.5 pts, 2.6 rbd, 2,8 assists) are here, and we should point out that Jordan Blount, who was their top scorer and jumper, is not here. Portugal and Ireland had 4 same opponents in Austria: Austria, Scotland and Slovakia, whom Portugal defeated and Ireland lost to, Denmark who defeated Portugal. This Irish team is weaker than the one from 2015 while Portugal are much better. The only downside to this bet is the fact that Portugal played a difficult game last night, while Ireland had an easy one against Moldova. If this was a later stage of the competition, then I might give this more importance, but not this way. The handicap (16.5) on Portugal is a good bet, but even better is the under of Ireland's points. Those 100 points against Moldova don't mean much. They will not score around 50 points today due to opponent's mistakes. Ireland might try to compensate for the lack of physical strength through running, but they can hardly breach the wall that awaits them. Hungary were at 30 points yesterday, and I think they are better than Ireland in every way. Details

    Just like yesterday, I think the bookies have once again overrated Moldova. They didn't do much yesterday. Granted, they hit 63 points against Ireland (allowed 100) but that was a fast-paced game. Moldova had 40 turnovers, Ireland 90 shots.
    Kosovo played a close quarter with Croatia and lost the rest of the game 80-26, including the 30-0 in the last quarter. Croatia are better than them in every segment of the game and it's also possible that Kosovo were a bit surprised at how helpless they were and in turn fell apart completely. Kosovo have the chance to be Croatia today. I have no doubt they will be very motivated to make up for that defeat yesterday. Kosovo targeted Moldova 116-58 at U18 last year. Compared to that competition, there will 15 of the same players here today. Kosovo finished the competition in spot three behind Azerbaijan and Andorra (Moldavia finished 8th out of 9 teams). T-hey beat San Marino 86-54 and 100-57 (Moldavia lost 78-68), Wales (Moldavia lost 69-62), Malta 110-61 (Moldavia lost 87-79). I think the difference in quality is there. Kosovo are not worse than Ireland in my opinion and Ireland trashed Moldavia yesterday. Details
