Both teams secured a spot in semis after two opening wins. They are now to face off for the top spot in the group. Switzerland have better goal difference and a draw would be enough for them here. This is a mix of two generations (1997 and 1998). Spain were dominant at previous tournaments with both generations (runner ups at U-17 2014 EC, runner-ups at U-17 2014, first spot at U-17 EC 2015) while the Swiss generation of 1997 couldn't be too happy with the results as they lost convincingly to top teams. They scored 4 goals against them for a big win in over and for the spot in semis. The Swiss have already done great and they will be without any pressure today. Spain will go after the win that would secure the top spot for them. Their previous results guarantee a potential rerun of last season's U17 EC final.
