The roles are reverse in Halkida. If there were a poll, probably anyone who knows anything about these generations and the circumstances would think Greece and Croatia would be in the final. That didn't happen. Iceland and Montenegro are going to play the revue game in the final, and Greece and Croatia will fight each other for the third place, the last one that sends them to the A division.
Croatia came without Slavica, Žižić. Zubac and Bender. It's impossible to make up for the quality that's gone with them. Then Luka Božić got injured, so they got crushed by Montenegro in the semifinal. They were hoping for a fix against Iceland, but now they'll face the Greeks, and there's not much they can do. Since the odds for the outcome became incredibly low, I'll think about Croatia under 34.5 in the first half.
They hit 32 against Bosnia and 35 against Britain with Božić, 32 against Montenegro without him, and the Greeks are definitely miles ahead from all those teams - they never allowed over 34 in the first half (26 BiH, 22 Britain...), even yesterday when Iceland beat them 70-67 (they were leading 37-32 after the first half).
Without Žižić and Zubac, and Vraneš from Zadar, Croatia have no tall players who can score something (Karačić is an athletic four who can play any position), and they're doomed to depend on Mazalin's inspiration, and he hasn't been serious for years. Kapusta, Badžim, Filipović, they're hard workers, small back guards, and they can hit open shots, but they're not creative. Especially not against the defense they're going to face today.
