Plzen had a bad start of the season despite three wins in the first four rounds. No wonder they're not pleased - they have lots of good players, a great collective, but their performances weren't that great. They'll definitely do their best today to prove themselves.
Škvaril's injury weakened their offense significantly, but even without him, they scored 31 against Dukla, and 29 away against Zubri. They're top teams, and Veseli can be happy if they manage to win 2-3 games till the end of the season. They definitely aren't strong enough to face any of the Czech teams, and Plzen are one of the best. Fast game, Veseli falling apart and playing bad defense will result in Plzen scoring 35 goals, at least that's what I think.
The guests allowed Dukla 36, Karvina 38, Zubra 33, and Jičin 28 at home, and they rarely win away.
Plzen scored (home and away) 34 and 37 to Tatran, 39 and 34 to Zlin, 27 and 33 to Koprivnice, 38 and 23 to Brno, and those are weaker teams.
They also scored at home: 36 against Lovci, 31 Hranice, Zubra 19 in the first half, 28 to Bjerringbro, 32 to Jičin, 30 to Karvina, 34 to Dukla, 33 and 34 to Hranice in the playoff...
These are respectable numbers for sure, so I don't think 34-35 goals against an opponent this weak should be hard for them to score.
