Setien unhappy about his team reaction after the defeat in Barcelona

Deportivo have no wins this year but they are still undefeated too, despite playing some respectable teams

Las Palmas went to Camp Nou hoping for another surprise after the Cup win at Vincente Calderon. Sadly, the Catalan side proved too be very productive, leaving them with no chance. Barcelona won 5-0 but Las Palmas stayed mid-table.

Things are far from ideal after the last defeat and coach Setien seems to be particularly disappointed by some things:  

- I've seen some very strange things on the team after the last defeat and this week at practice sessions. It was a long and tiring week but I didn't like some things I've seen. Three players will be in the stands today and three players from the B team which is in the third division will be there today. 

Setien didn't see which three players will be off the team but the media assume it will be Sergio Araujo, who had problems before and Tyronne del Pino, players who don't have the coach's confidence anyway. 

Pedro Bigas and Dani Castellan's injuries are a much bigger problem for Setien. Garcia is out as well which means only Macedo will be there when it comes to their starting defensive line. Some media treat Castellano and Bigas as questionable but the chances for them to play are slim. Kevin-Prince Boateng is out with a suspension.

Deportivo are still undefeated in the four games they played in 2017 but they also have no wins. Given the teams they met in the two Primera draws, that can be consider an achievement for the La Coruna team. After getting a point away against Espanyol, they managed to beat Villarreal and get further away from the danger zone. 

- Las Palmas are a team that can play football, a team that will have greater possession and that will dictate pace against any opponents. We do not fear them and we do not envy them. We have our strong suit. We are better from set pieces, which are our big weapon. We didn't beat anyone away this season but we think that we have the quality to get from the Canaries with three points - visiting forward Andone said.

Juanfran will be back on the visiting team, but Gama and Valle are still out with injuries. Fajr is at the Africa Cup of Nations.
