The Pistons are in a great offense rhythm

They're arriving after three away wins in which, on average, they recorded 118 points. Under Vogel, Orlando raised their defense game significantly, and that is going to be the key of this match

After the very start of the season, Detroit again managed to tie three wins. Their shape is obviously on the rise because they won in four out of the last five games. They were especially impressive int he last three because they were away games, and they crushed: Hornets (112-89), Celtics (121-114) and the Hawks (121-84) two days ago.

They spent almost the entire match in the lead, and they made the key series by the middle of the second quarter when they went to +19. In the second half they continued in the same rhythm, so the advantage at one point was the whooping +37 points.

- We were flying out there. That's going to be the key of our success in the upcoming period, with some improvements in the defense. If we manage that, then we'll be pretty good - said Ish Smith who recorded 11 points and had 13 assists.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the team with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Tobias Harris recorded 18 points and seven rebounds. The rest of the team were also double-digit. Drummond recorded 14 points and rebounds, and Morris recorded 14 points.

Except at the very start, the rest of the match they were in the lead. They went to half-time with eight points of advantage, and by the end of the third quarter that advantage was up to +21. In the last quarter there was no uncertainty.

- I think we played very well before, but we didn't know how to wrap up a game. We're showing that we have one of the better defenses of the league, we just need to record more than our opponents - said coach Vogel whose team shot 50% for the three-pointers and 47.4% from the floor.

For the first time Jodie Meeks played for his new team, and in 17 minutes he recorded 10 points. They were led by Gordon with 20 points, while Ibaka, Fournier and Green each recorded 16 points. Vucevic started the game from the bench, but he recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Biyombo had 13 rebounds, but he recorded only four points.

So far Orlando didn't do too well in away games, but in the last three they won two times. Today it will be extremely important to play their defense on the right level because the Pistons are in a very good offense mood.
