Because of the importance of the game for Slovenia, and their defense led by great goalkeeper Kastelic, I believe that Egypt will not score over 12 goals in the first half. At this tournament, in the first halves, Egypt scored 15 against France, 11 against Denmark and Sweden. At the previous championship in Russia, they scored at halftime: Spain 11, Norway 8, Iceland 12, Germany 13 and Sweden 10. They went over today's margin only against Germany, but Germany had a weak team at that tournament and ended 17th.
On the other side, Slovenia are good in defense and they are trying to copy their senior team. At this championship they conceded 11 to Denmark, 12 to Qatar and France. Only 12 conceded goals against the top team shows they have a great defense. In the qualifiers for this tournament they conceded, at halftime, 10 against Ukraine and Slovakia, and 12 against Kosovo. At the previous WC in Russia they conceded 9 against Tunisia, 8 Argentina, 13 Brazil and Japan, but they had an early lead against Brazil and Japan and later played more relaxed.
Considering everything mentioned, I believe in Slovenia's strong start, they are trying to reach the top spot, and I believe they will be maximally focused from start to finish, which will result in less of Egypt's goals in the first half.
