If we taking into consideration form of both players we could easily conclude that Bolelli mostly does well and that he wins when being the favorite, while Thiem does one tournament well and the others pretty badly. I believe Thiem is far from the level he is thought to be and time will only sow that. He did quite well in Miami but his tennis has been ridden with ups and downs and he hasn't been reliable since. The only thing that could make us believe he found rhythm is his win over Fognini but that far from the truth because Fognini did horribly. Bolelli is at least keeping a certain level and doesn't have that many ups and downs. He's currently better and he's playing home, which is the upper hand. Either way, he's better and more consistent which is why I think he should win.
