Antalyaspor haven't won an away match for almost 10 months

Rizespor remain undefeated in the last five games. They are playing well and have a very powerful and enthusiastic defense

Caykur Rizspor, lead by the experienced fox Riza Calimbay, remain undefeated after five matches. They have three wins in the championship and one in the cup. Moreover, they have one draw which can also be seen as a win because it was the match against Galatasaray which ended in a 1-1 draw. That Calimbay is doing a great job isn't confirmed only by the win/loss ratio, but also by his team's game on the pitch. Although they started playing in the first division only recently, Rizospor are one of three most efficient teams in the championship. They scored 12 goals, and received only seven. With 13 points, they currently hold the fantastic third place on the Super league table. It would be just marvelous if they could keep this form for another month.

-Antalyaspor are a team with experienced players who know what to do and how to react on the pitch. Even when they are losing, they do not fall apart, they don't deviate from the formation and they remain disciplined. Our task is to leave our hearts on the pitch, to fight during all 90 minutes, and if we do this, we can hope to secure some points. The supporters, our great strength, will once again cheer us on in great numbers -said Rizespor's coach Riza Calimbay.

Calimbay will start this match without three players, two midfielders and one forward. Albayrak is out due to injury and the standard Karakas has been suspended due to bookings. The forward David Depetris, who has never been in the starting line-up and who scored only one goal, is also injured.

Antalyaspor have reached the next stage in the cup, but only barely, after the penalty shootouts. They then played a home game against Besiktas, who played without their coach and several important players, so they seized the opportunity and won with a 2-0 score. Now they are facing an away game against Rizespor, the most pleasant surprise in the championship so far.  If they win a point or three in that match also, the improvement in their game and results will be noticeable. Samet Aybabe's team are no longer at the bottom of the table. However, they aren't very far from the danger zone either, so they really need a positive score.

-The win against Besiktas has lifted the team's spirit. They  seem more relaxed now. We have to keep up with the good performance and we'll climb up the table. We are facing an away game against a very good team and we are aiming for a win; we are feeling good and we are capable of achieving a positive score -said Samet Aybaba before the game against Rizespor.

Except this tight win in the cup, Antalyaspor haven't won in an away match since January 9th, 2013, or for around 10 months. Even after Aybaba became the coach, the situation didn't change. Only two draws and a defeat are recorded in Aybaba's balance sheet. When it comes to absences, the standard forward Diarra who already scored three goals is questionable, as well as the young forward Torun. The standard midfielder Nacho Insa and the center back Baris are injured.

Rizespor plays very well even though they were promoted this season. You can read about their success in the announcement. Rizespor are an experienced and well-orchestrated team so they are level with the host team. They won all three home games and even won a friendly against Trabzonspor. When a team in Turkey wins against Bursaspor (former champion), Trabzonspor (former champion) and ties away at Galatasaray (defending champion) then they deserve respect. It is evident that their wins are not result of mere chance or poor form of the opponents, but of good and offensive-driven play by Caykur Rizespor. Antalyaspor won against Besiktas, a very strong team but if you've read the announcement before the game you could have seen in what condition Besiktas was. Today Antalyaspor could be left without attacker Diarra who scored both goals in that game. If he doesn't take part today I doubt that the guest team can look for anything in this game.
