Lokeren will want to make up for the defeat on their own stadium in the last round, against Club Brugge (0-3). Lokeren aren't a team who know how to calculate and play a closed game. The only two times they didn't score in the 16 games in this season was in two games against Brugge. On the other hand, Lokeren's defense conceded a lot of goals (23).
Mons don't have a reason to wait and calculate. They have to go for the win, and I doubt Lokeren will allow them to defeat them with the minimum score of 1-0. I think they'll have to score at least two goals for the possible first win in the championship, but Lokeren's players won't just be standing there and watching with their arms crossed what's going on on the pitch.
If Lokeren do take the lead, Mons will have to open up more, and that should lead to even more goals being scored.
That's why I expect at least three goals in this match.
