Ludogorets looking to atone for their unexpected league defeat

Dudelange lost the first game by 0-4 and they will try to leave a better impression. Ludogorets have unexpectedly lost the first-round league game against Hashkov and their coach Stojev was very angry and will look for maximum dedication from his team in this CL match

Dudelange from Luxembourg suffered a 0-4 defeat against Ludogorets in Razgrad, which pretty much settled this fixture, and the only question is by what margin will the Bulgarians want to finish off their opponents.

An additional problem for Dudelange's coach Sebastien Grandjean are the injuries of their top striker Julien Jahier (21 goals in 22 league games last season), forward Damota and midfielder Macedo. Without then, they can't expect too much from the return fixture unless Ludogorets don't relax too much. In the meantime, Dudelange have brought in Croatian forward Andrej Kerić but he won't play today.

- We had no chance in the first game, but I believe we won't repeat such a poor performance and that we'll show a different face on our home pitch - said Dudelange's coach, who believes that their completely recovered midfielder Mokhtari will play.

- It is our duty to give all we've got so that we can play a brave, disciplined game and not allow Ludogorets to dictate the tempo of the game - said the home team's coach, but the difference in quality is just too vast. 

Had Stojče Stojev's team been more clinical in the final stages, they could have scored 7-8 goal against Dudelange, but it turned out well this way as well. What disappointed Stojev was their 0-1 defeat against Hashkov at the start of the Bulgarian league, which was certainly unexpected. That's why Stojev expects his team to atone today in Luxembourg so that the atmosphere ahead of their game against Partizan in the 3rd round could get back to normal.

- The defeat against Hashkov was a nasty surprise for us and we mustn't repeat the mistakes from that game against Dudelange - said Ludogorets's coach, who will mix his squad and give a chance to some players that are usually not in the starting 11.

- Whoever I send out onto the court, I expect them to play well and win. We cannot allow ourselves to gamble and we have to confirm our quality - said the away coach clearly. He will be without his defenders Aleksandrod and Angul, and midfielders Terziev and Hernandez.
