A clash for Division top spot

Both teams had very little time to prepare and a few unusual defense mistake is thus to be expected. That could result in quite a lot of points

It's been clear for a while now that two top spots of the NFC East Divison are to be divided between Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, since the other two Division rivals can't get a win. Both Dallas and Philadelphia won 8 out of 11 games, but the Eagles have the upper hand since they won both Division games, with the Texans on a 2-1 record when it comes to that. The schedule has not been very suitable since they didn't have much time to prepare for the most important game of the season as both Dallas and Philadelphia played their games on Sunday (Cowboys in prime time).

- I think the rush and the adrenalin can beat fatigue. This is a great chance for us, we can't think of anything else now. We have to step out there and give our very best - tight end Jason Witten said.

Tony Romo has been doing brilliantly the last two games - he had passed for seven touch downs without a single interception. In last week's 31-28 win over the Giants, Romo completed 18 out of 26 passes for 275 yards and 4 TDs.

 - We are all aware of the last win, but as soon as we touched down in Dallas, that game was no longer important - Dez Bryant said. He caught 7 passes for 86 yards and 2 touch downs. 

DeMarco Murray have been a great help for Tony Romo, finishing with triple digits in rushing yards 10 times this season, including the game with the Giants, where he recorded 124 yards on the ground in 24 carries. The Cowboys have been averaging 26.5 points per game, which is a good number since they concede 4.7 points less.

- I think we understand pretty well how good the Cowboys are. They are trying really hard in defense, and then, obviously, rely on rushing in offense, which has been working really really well - Philadelphia's coach said. His team outplayed the Titans last Sunday relatively easily 43-34.

Ever since he was put in charge in offense following Nick Foles' win, Mark Sanchez managed to complete 62.3% of passes for 1.187 yards and 7 touch downs in less than 4 games. He was also intercepted 6 times. Jordan Matthews became the main target of his passes, having caught 18 passes for 322 yards and 3 touch downs in the last 3 games. Sanchez will have to pay special attention today to opponents' defense that has recorded an interception in each of the last 4 games.

The Eagles are top table in points (31.1), but the defense is not nearly as impressive (25.0 points per game). They are particularly bad at limiting opponents' yards in air (266.3 yards per game). 

- We want to win this division. We have a great challenge ahead. They are a great team currently played at a very high level - corner back Cary Williams said.

Both teams are much more impressive in offense than in stopping the opponents, which means that the crown at AT&T Stadium is probably in for a very productive game. 

- It will be a great game. I'm very excited. We're ready - the Eagles' defensive end Fletcher Cox said.
