Duel between two best defenses

Adzic's team managed to beat Sweden 30-29 two days ago, and they were down until the end of the match - that's Montenegro's mental strength. Lazovic was sent off nine minutes into the match and Adzc defense fell apart and by the end of the half-time they conceded 18 goals. Luckily, the offense was good and that's what got them out.

- We told ourselves during the half-time that this team isn't a team fighting for the semi-finals. I think our game was a lot better in the second part, the defense finally worked and thanks to that and our Montenegrian heart we won - said proud Joka Radicevic, and Kaca Bulatovic added:

Adzic openly said that he'd want to have Denmark in the semi-finals, but that didn't come to pass. The Spaniards beat them fare and square.

- We are in a worse position because we traveled four hours from Osijek, and now we will have to travel four and a half to Budapest. EHF are doing that from their own interests, we have to cope. Despite the justifications from the selector's side, Lazovic publicly apologized for her start at Polman:

- There was no intention in that start. I would never do such a thing on purpose, especially because I myself was injured a lot in my career.

The Disciplinary Commission issued a one-game suspension and punished her with EUR 2.000 , but we still don't know if the Montenegrians have filed a complaint. It's interesting that it's not bothering her, although it's clear that she'd like to help her team win the silver:
