With yesterday's 31-27 win after two overtimes, Start Elblag took a 1-0 lead in the series for the third position. Today they will play the second game at Start Elblag's field. Vistal started yesterday's game better, took 14-12 lead after the first half, but Elblag dictated the result in the second half. However, there were no winners after the regular time (25-25), they played 10 minutes overtime, which Elblag won 6-2. I expect Elblag to win by even bigger lead today for at least two reasons. Vistal played five games in the semi-final, on Wednesday they played the deciding game for the finale against Pogon and they lost 20-24 and this will be their fourth game in 8 days. Vistal also lost two starters at the end of regular season, pivot Kulwinska and right winger Labuda, which further complicates things at the end of the season. Elblag already defeated Vistal twice this season, they are much more rested than the away team and that should come to the fore in today's game for the third position.
