Russia underestimated Turkey and didn't really have rhythm. When they realized Turkey decided to get a point at any cost, they got their game up but failed to score until the end even though they basically attacked the whole time. Russia had 19 shots in total, 11 corner kicks and a few sitters. When Turkey realized the draw is a reality, they started pretending to be injured to steal time. Goal keeper Caglar who played that game won't be here today.
- It was a shameful game in which we lost two points. We prepared very well for this one. We need to focus on offense - coach Fomina of Russia said.
