Before that in an away game they beat the solid Wurzburg, and then they redeemed up to a point for the aforementioned defeat with two wins, over Telekom and Oldenburg. Today they're having an away game in Braunschweig and that's a new chance to grasp some points. Because of a couple of things, I think this margin is too low. The first and foremost is the quality of the roster. Braunschweig lost their whole team over the summer, their budget is lower, they started from zero by assembling players who were mostly in the second league last season, they brought some Americans from the NCAA legue, and it's hard to think they will be able to take on Ludwigsburg's roster. Braunschweig have a very short bench, a couple of Americans who lead the game and they have no subs. In the pre-season they were mostly heavily defeated, they opened up with a solid edition and by winning against rookies Rasta, but after that things settled in. Braunschweig don't have a lot of good options in the offense, they won't be able to deal with the opponents' pace who could use all 12 players in the rotation. The only counter-argument here could be the fact that on Friday Ludwigsburg played against Oldenburg, and because of the wide rotation and the start of the season, I don't think that could play a role today. Considering the shape and the difference in quality, I expect Ludwigsburg to win with a double-digit difference.
