I think the margin is too high. Russia and Finland played three games in the last 2 years. The first one at Eurobasket finished at 160 points. Compared to that game, Finland is without Koponen, their top offensive end player, while Russia have Sved and Mozgov to count on. That game is a somewhat less relevant since Russia hired a new coach and made some changes to the team after Eurobasket.
Last summer, they played two preparation games which finished at 142 and 156 points. Koponen played for Finland back then, while Russia cannot count on Fridzon and Kulagin now.
Looking at the results after the new coach took over, Russia went over this margin in 3 out of 9 friendly games, while they played at 122, 145, 158 and 137 in qualifiers against Sweden and Bosnia.
Since the start of the preparation period for the last Eurobasket, Finland went over this margin in 3 out of 20 games. In the last one against Latvia (166), last summer against Germany in a preparation game (165) and with Serbia at Eurobasket (175).
I see the context of the game as a problem here but I think there is enough leeway given this margin.
