I understand the euphoria around Hewitt. He's won the ATP title at the start of the season and the journalists asked him whether he plans to retire soon. He got a huge role of the favorite against Seppi because of that but the margins suggest this should be a walk in the park and I disagree with this view. Seppi did his best on Grand Slams last season. There is no point expecting a three-set match. The Italian played 14 matches at this level last season and he took half of them into the 5th set. He reached the fourth round here last year. Hewitt seems to have a fetish for long matches too. At the last US Open, he played three 5-set matches in a row. Both players depend on the rhythm and can't play the whole match in a trance. That's why a logical option here is more than three sets and it pays very well.
