Rola passed the qualifications with much authority. First he beat the two veterans and was then convincing against Herbert who is a player of faster conditions with an improving form. The Slovenian is no clay player even though he plays on it a lot. He started his career late as he was studying in the US. He's won the NCAA title which means he plays on concrete a lot. Delbonis play his first ATP match on concrete last week. He had a solid draw but didn't win a set against Young. I will go for winning the first set in this one and the reasons are manifold. Rola has the advantage in terms of qualifications and adaptation to the conditions. The Argentine has had only one match this season and he will be out of rhythm. Even though I believe Rola will win, he's an inexperienced player who is not used to playing best of five matches and I don't want to rely on the entire match. After all, his advantage should be the biggest at the start.
