Last weekend Kavčič won all three of his Davis Cup matches rather decisively. He is filled with confidence, keeps talking about great preparations and excellent form, and he is not the kind of player that just throws such words around. Last year he had a lot of criticism for his game. Sijsling did not open this season well. There were losses in matches where he could have won, and he finally started properly in Heilbronn. He had great serves that week, losing about 10 points on his serve per match, but not demolishing anyone. His return was the problem, and in his current situation Kavčič is a much more dangerous opponent than the ones Sijsling faced back then. Last year he played very well here, and has been complaining of poorer form now. I believe the Slovene can win here, but I don't want to risk it as this handicap looks like a big insurance.
