Since Daria is the new hope of the Australian team and feeling great in Australia, we can expect her full commitment, both mentally and physically. She's had an extremely successful start of the season, other than winning an invite to the Australian Open she won all her matches decisively. Kerber was a bit too much for her, but she sill put up an incredible fight and showed everyone we can expect a lot from her. She can and should improve in all aspects of her game, and currently has the mental strength, fitness and incredible desire to prove that Australia chose well. Kiki is still too unstable and stagnating, she just can't seem to grow and advance to the next level. She ended the last season rather well, proven by the fact she's in the Top 100. The start of this season was rather underwhelming (to my expectations), and I doubt there will be any major changes to that in the next weeks. I expect more unforced errors from Bertens and much less interest and rush on each shot. Daria Gavrilova might be an unknown quantity for many, but that will certainly change after this season.
