It seems like Baghdatis beat Goffin easily once again but the Belgian had some problems with injuries a week ago and isn't at his best here either. Baghdatis took advantage of it but he didn't play well and managed to win only because he converted more of his break points (6/7 compared to Goffin's 3/7). He had only 47% of first serve and 9 double faults. I think a more fit player would have taken advantage of it. Anyway, Baghdatis advance to round 2, just like Coric, who almost left for Zagreb two days ago. But, after a slip in the qualifying match, he managed to get in the main draw as a lucky loser to take advantage of the opportunity. He beat Jaziri and since he already played before, I think he can be a very tough opponent for Baghdatis. Also, Coric's coach Krajan used to coach Baghdatis. I think Borna will be a tough nut to crack today and I wouldn't be surprised even if he would win.
