I think it's not necessary to say much about Nishikori's form; he's at his top level right now and his confidence and motivation run high as well. He won Barcelona to prove clay suits him. The surface is a bit faster in Madrid but that won't be a problem for him as those kind of surfaces suit his style, which is very little mistakes, high percentage of rallies won and physically fitness. Goffin is a great player but he's not quite t the level that should be consistent for him to be able to put up a fight against the Japanese. He made some unexpected mistakes against Gulbis and that match could have easily finish with Belgian's defeat. He recently lost to Nishikori by nine games on hard court but the conditions and parameters are even more favorable for Nishikori now. Since he's in much better form, and high confidence level, I think he'll win by at least 6 games. Nishikori will take a break after Madrid to prepare for RG.
