In my opinion, the odds for the outcome of this game have been a huge failure. I expect the the odds to be at 1.80 on Ergotelis and I would go for their win in this case. The change of coaches are a normal thing in the Greek League, and even though there hasn't been too many of them, it's the same story all over again - new coach comes along, gets a few good games and as soon as the team hits a slump, he is fired, takes over a new team and the cycle starts over. This is, of course, a general outline but it's not far from the truth. A change of coaches is always a positive shock for the team and we will have a chance to see that with Ergotelis as they are fighting to avoid relegation and they need a win really badly. On the other hand, we have have Panetolikos who have been a strong team this season, especially at home as they have haven't been beaten there so far, not even by Olympiakos. However, things are much different in away games as they still have no away wins and have only won 3 points in 10 games. This is obviously a psychological problem but I doubt it will be resolved today. A huge advantage for Ergotelis is their general motivation as they need the points to stay in the league while the away team can't reach Europe but are far from relegation as well. Their goal was to stay in the league and you can say they've accomplished their goal and can now play their games more relaxed, especially the away ones in which they can't do anything as it is. In addition, I can't help but notice that Panetolikos had better results before than in the last month or so. They're a typical second-division team that has a great start of the season but slightly drops as the season goes on. The motivated hosts should be able to win this one without too much trouble. I think these odds are a solid mistake by the bookmakers, and I strongly believe the hosts will win this one so I will go in with a higher stake, at least in football terms.
