Cittadella is in a very bad spot right now

The away team does not look good this season and for today's match they will be missing some of their important players.

Agliatti's Novara are very patient this season. They are working hard on winning points and they hope that they can be part of the top division next year. Their performances so far certainly weren't spectacular, but as the season advances they are looking better and better. They don't know for a loss in their last four matches, and they won both of they home matches this season. In the last round they only managed to win one point in the Reggio Calabria despite having the half-time lead. Gonzales and his teammates couldn't score the second goal and Reggina started to play better as the match advanced. In the end they managed to score the equalizer. Fischnaller was the goalscorer but Novara's goalkeeper Kosicky was mainly responsible for that goal.


- We are looking good. We are on a good streak and we wish to continue it. Playing a match during the week is always difficult but that shouldn't be a big problem for my team. We are facing a very tough challenge and this won't be an easy match for us. Cittadella are still waiting for their first win of the season but that is really none of our concern. We were criticized a lot recently and I don't think there was a real reason for that. We lost just one match and had four positive results. We are not Barcelona, we just can't dominate against every opponent in every match - Aglietti said.


Novarra's coach can count on all of his players and his only real dilemma is should his right full-back for today's match be Salviato or Ludi.


Last Saturday Cittadella didn't play a good match against Juve Stabia and fans certainly made them understand that after the match. Result by itself was not that much of a problem, but their catastrophic overall performance certainly was. They could be pleased for conceding only twice 'cause, considering the amount of goal chances their opponents created, Foscarini's team could have conceded a lot more goals. Missed chances and some good saves by young Di Gennaro saved Novara from huge embarrassment but that match had shown that Foscarini has a lot of hard work ahead of him. His team is harmless in the attack and they failed to score a single goal in four out of five matches they played this season. On the other side, their defence doesn't look good also. Both of the goals against Juve Stabia they conceded practically from the goal-line and they shouldn't have allowed their opponents even to be there, let alone to score goals.


- After losing the match I always relish the opportunity to get back on the field and to focus on the next match. We didn't have a lot time to think about that loss 'cause we had another match ahead. I am not pleased to see that many of my players injured but we should look to the future and we must work hard to improve our performances - Foscarini said.


Busellato, Marin, Lore and Paoluccia are all out for Novara due to injuries. Couple of other players are also struggling with injuries and it is practically impossible to predict who will start the game for them today. Coly or Gasparetto should be in the last line of the defence, and Di Donato, Alborno, De Leidi and Mines are fighting for their spot in the midfield. In the attack we should se Perez along Donnarumm or Dumitru.

The away team are playing horribly and they have trouble with absences which was mentioned in the review and their "Serie B Ferguson" Foscarini so far has no solutions for the problems in Cittadella. They look harmless in the offense and the defense looks completely disorganized and that is a great opportunity for Novara to reach an easy win in front of their fans. Gonzales and the team are not brilliant so far, but despite a somewhat poorer performance they score more than good results, especially at home. Novara should take all three points for the third time this season.
