Canayer demands maximum seriousness

Last season Montpellier lost points against Creteil and Aix, wiich costed them a place in the Champions league. They can't fail now, especially since Dijon is the main candidate for dropping out of the league

Their first elite match didn't go well for Dijon. While they managed to come back, thhey were losing in half-time against Selestat 16-7. The end result (25-21) leaves a solid impression, but below a four point difference, Dijon couldn't go. If we had ti point out some good things they showed at the start of the season, it would be goalkeeper Nebojsa Stojinovic, former player in Istres and Chambery, who is defending very well at age 39. He tookk out all three 7 meter shots from Selestat, 15 balls in all. Beside him, Hungarian right back Istvan Redei scored 7 out of 10 shots, while left back Pierrick Naudin had a 5/11 realisation, but only 3/9 from open play. The left back Spaniard Juan Antonio Vasquez failed witth 1/5. Alot is expected from him this season, he arrived ffrom Asobal, where he played forPPuerto Sagunto, Granollers and Antequeru.-The loss was a massive disappointment. The level of quality in the D1 is very high, we have a lot of work to do, but we won't give up, we're continuing to work - said line man Marc Polleti to Le Bien Public.
-We played better in the second half, we missed the point in  the first one. We played better, but it was impossible to come back from a -9. In the D2 we couldn't make up -5, let alone -9 in the D1.
Many see Dijon as a candidate for dropping out,there are a lot of comparisons with Billere who lost all of their 26 games last season.
-It's just a better fighting motivation. We all have one thing on our minds; to remain in the league -says Polleti, announcing the match against the great Montpellier.

-The goal before Dijon is clear. The players understand, they have to show everything they learned. Every round is complicated, we saw in the first one, Chambery lost a point, PSG as wel -warned Canayer before the first game.
-Last season we lost points against similar teams, Creteil and Aix. There are no easy games in this league.
The coach spoke about Accambray, talked about his fewer minutes at the start of the season. He's not pleased with him and expects more.

Montpellier destroyed Aix in the first round with 12 scored goals more, and Aix is better than Dijon by 3-4 goals. Dijon is a newcomer in the league - they were third in the second division but got in the first one because the runner up Muhlhouse didn't. They lost to Sélestata 25-21 at the opening, but the score was even better than how it seemed on the court (Dijon was losing 16-7 by the half time). Montpellier have all the players on disposal: Omeyer as the goalkeeper, Hmam in defense, Simoneto as the center of offense, Kavticnik, Gajic, and Dolenec right. They are not in the Champions League, their only focus is the French championship, and this match is the test for the matches against Nantes and PSG. I expect them to be in full swing and wouldn't be surprise if they finish with 10 goals more than the opponent.
