This is a duel between two of the best defenses of the Western conference and I believe the goals will not come too easily. Even though Lokomotiv are the favorites, I think this is more of a 50-50 game in which a single goal could decide the match Lokomotiv have been a disaster in offense and a perfection in defense lately, and this is simply their style. In addition, their keeper Sanford is in great shape and they close down their goal once they get the lead in every game. Riga have had a few overs lately against offensively-minded teams, but their last game against Atlant (a team similar to Lokomotiv) showed the direction for today's game. Both teams concede only two goals on average, Riga are defensively oriented in away games and Lokomotiv in all games. Bearing in mind the importance of this game for Lokomotiv's battle for the play-offs and Riga's battle to keep their position in the table, even an early goal should not put this bet at risk.
