The Nuggets have scored only 94,3 points in the past three games while they conceded 12,4 points more on average

After a good period, Denver Nuggest have lost 4 out of 5 games and they were particularly poor last Saturday when the LA Clippers destroyed them by 112-91. Things went south for Brian Shaw's boys from the start of the game in which they never came close. They reduced the lead to 58-52 near the end of second period but then a 10-2 run by the Clippers ensued and hall hope of a comeback was gone.

- We were completely outplayed by a much better team. They've more or less done everything they want and were better in all aspects of the game while we were completely without energy. We are not looking good at the moment. We have to work a lot to get back to where we want to be - said coach Shaw.

His team was lead by Wilson Chandler with 19 points (8/15) and 6 rebounds, while Timofey Mozgov added 15 points (6/9) and 9 rebounds. An injury limited Ty Lawson to only 13 points (4/8) while Jordan Hamilton wasn't too useful as he missed 9 out of 10 shots and got only 4 points in the first game after serving his suspension.

- At the moment, maturing is an important thing for this team. We complain and we cry every time an action doesn't end well. We complain to the refs, we are trying to fin any excuse when things don't go our way and it costs us a lot at the other end of the pitch. We talked about taking advantage and  punishing crybabies, but in fact, we are those who complain and cry - added coach Shaw.

The Nuggets have scored 101,2 points this season, while they concede almost an identical amount but in the last three games they only scored 94,3 points and they allowed 12,4 more. Tonight, they could be without Kenneth Faried who left the pitch after about three minutes of play and hasn't returned. 

His energy could be missed against the Golden State Warriors whose form hasn't been something special lately, but they came to the Pepsi Center in a slightly better mood after letting some steam on the decimated Lakers that were sent packing from the Oracle Arena with a 102-83 scoreline. Mark Jackson's boys didn't start the game too well but they managed to break down the Lakers in the second half.

- We've tried to disrupt what they're doing. We had a good communication in defense. We managed to limit them to a single shot. We've done everything that experts and analysts say make us a strong team - commented coach Jackson after his team limited the Lakers to only 32,5 points.

- Things might go your way in offense some times and sometimes they might not go but we always have to do our best in defense, to force the opponents to do what we want. If we play energetically, we will be alright. We have to make the opponents work for every possession, regardless of whether they make the shot or not, just so they don't get easy points. Good things will happen as long as we stick to our game plan - said Stephen Curry who ended the game with 18 points (5/15), 6 rebounds and 9 assists. 

The best Warrior was David Lee with 19 points (8/18) and 10 rebounds, while Andrew Bogut was great with 12 points (6/12) and as much as 20 rebounds.

The Warriors would like to see Andre Igoudala wake up as he has scored an average of 3,7 points in the last 3 games after missing 12 games before that due to injury. Iggy might  be more inspired tonight since he will be playing against his former team.

The Nuggets have lost four out of last five games and I don't think they will do too well tonight. Their main player Ty Lawson has suffered an injury that slowed him down and caused him to miss two games and they might also be without Kenneth Faried whose energy was often a great asset for the Nuggets. In the last three games, the Denver boys have scored only 94,3 points while they allowed 12,4 points more which certainly has something to do with the problems their playmaker (Lawson).has been having. On the other hand, the Warriors are not too brilliant but I believe that Curry, Thompson and Lee have enough firepower to harm the hosts while Iggy and Bogut will take care of defense. They knocked out the Nuggets in six play-off games last season and they seem like a better team at the moment as well.
