A convincing display for Ventspils on Wednesday has put them one step away from taking the title from Riga. They are up by 3-1 and need one more win to get their first title after a five-year fast. The first four games confirmed they're a better team than Riga who seem like an out-of-tune orchestra after Bajramović left in the middle of the season, and their second center Nix a few weeks ago.
