The bookies are obviously still under the impression of the first round, but that's not the real state of things for me. Angola lost by only 4 goals against Denmark but the Danish coach Eriksen was unhappy with his team's performance. After the game, he clearly stated that Angola are not a good team and that the result should have been 45-15 for his team. Angola knew how to make use of the space that opened up, the second half was without defense on either end and it ended 34-30. It's worth mentioning that Denmark had +9 at the start of the second half and they should have won by some 10 goals. Angola have no real quality, they barely beat Kongo to take the African Cup last year and they're probably the weakest team here apart from Kazakhstan. Just to remind you, Angola prepared for this tournament against some minor teams from the Spanish league and lost a few games. Netherlands struggled against Argentina in the first round, a team with a game style that doesn't suit them, but they still should have won more convincingly. They had 24-16 with 14 minutes to go, but they scored only 1 more goal and Argentina got to -2. Angola's style should suit the Netherlands better as some of their slower players leave plenty of space for a fast transition and the Dutch should be able to score over 30 goals. On the other hand, Angola are not very likely to get so many goals and should receive a wake-up call today.
