The margin dropped by 2-3 points but I think it still has value. Bourg were the second best defense in the second division last season, which only goes to prove what kind of game coach Sarre insists on. Their defense was not that good in their first top league games since they struggle with injuries and have only 8 players to count on. As the injured players recover and get back on the team, Bourg are becoming the team from last season. 149 and 150 points were scored in their last two games, an they had only two overs at this margin in the last 6 official games. One was the failure against Nancy and the other a home win over Chalon. Bourg are playing home today and shouldn't lack motif or intensity. Sarre knows offense-oriented game will probably not bring them any good. On the other hand, Gravellines are the best team in the league in points per game, but their overall performance would not suggest that. They scored 92 against the newly promoted Rouen the last round, 91 in a weird game in Paris which was settled in overtime (total of 209 points) and that is pretty much it when it comes for their brilliant offense performances. They never scored more than 80 in the 4 remaining games. They scored 68 in the Cup against Nancy, 78 against Limoges and 79 against Boulogne, a team everyone scored close to 90 against the first few rounds. Gravelines finished only 74 in the away game with Cholet. I don't think Gravelines are capable of finishing with over 80 points against teams such as Bourg, despite their key player McKinney getting better. We should point out that their defense got better the last few games (conceded 75 and 49 points). Just like Bourg's, their preseason games would usually finish under this margin. Out of the 4 away games, they got close to 150 or more points only in Paris.
