A defeat would significantly diminish Motor's chances of getting through to the next round

The injury problems are still very much present in Kadetten. First choice left back Liniger is back but first choice goal keeper Portner and right back are still out

Motor are the only team in Group D without a single point after 4 rounds. The new chance will be the game in Kiev against Kadetten. Very important points are at stake here, especially for Motor since a new defeat would almost certainly see them knocked out. They still have to play Kadetten, Dunkerque and Aalborg away, all of which are their direct rivals for the second round. They meet Szeged and Kielce, the toughest teams in Group D, home. Despite of it all, Motor are in high spirits.

- I think we can say that no team but Kielce outplayed us. We defeated ourselves with all those mistakes we would make in the very end of our games. If we manage to fix that, we could get first points - coach Bebesk said.

It is questionable whether Kielce really managed to outplay Motor. The team from Ukraine were close for the most part of the match, with lack of games being their key problem one game after another. They now meet a team that struggle with a completely different problem - injures caused trouble with the busy schedule for Kadetten. But, the international break gave them two weeks off, after which Wacker shocked them home to beat them by 7 goals. It was not what coach Bauer had hoped for, especially since top-table position keeps on evading him team. They are now holding position 5, but Bebesko doesn't want to dwell on that:

- Their players are mostly former Bundesliga players and that says enough about the quality of their team. They have a lot of European internationals and a good-quality coach.

The Swiss team will have Liniger back on the left back position today. But one good news was followed by two bad ones - Kadetten will have to do without first choice goal keeper Portner and right back Richwien.

- We didn't know whether to take Portner with the team, but in the end decided not to. It will be a Cahmpions League chance for younger goal keepers. I hope the other younger players will step in for the injured players - coach Vass said.

He clearly trusts his youngsters but seems to be failing to take into consideration the fact Kadetten are meeting a very psychically powerful team that might be deadly for the Swiss juniors' health.

- We won't sail through this game, but I believe we can get points. I know they play tough defense and we need to stop their two wings from counter-attacking. We need to stop their shooters and if we manage to do all of that, we can win - the coach said.

The only good thing for the Swiss team is the fact Motor could will be without their key defender Evdoimov (pneumonia). Bebsko has quite a few other tough players at his disposal tough. No matter what players he will choose, Bebsko will have a psychically more powerful team, there's no doubt about it. 

Motor might have the newly acquired Portovikov today. The only question is whether all the paperwork will be done in time.

If Kadetten weren't force to face Motor without so many players, I would expect a very close game. But like this no. The Swiss team can't count on their first choice left wings Liniger and Richwein and first choice goal keeper Portner - their three key players. They are only a part of Schaffhausen's absent players they have been struggling with throughout the season. It cost them 5 days ago as well, as they lost to Wacker Thun home by 7 goals. Motor will not be an easy task against Burka, Sevaljev, Onufirjenka and goal keeper Stochl in Kiev (where game is taking place today). I expect Motor to win convincingly.
