Scotland can get to the EC with just a point if the other match is a draw. However, if the other match is a draw, Croatia too can advance if they win by 3 or more. This generation, regardless of winning just a point in their first two matches, can beat the Scottish team by 3 goals. Be that as it may, I still see this match going two ways - either Croatia will blow the game wide open and score 3-4 goals, or they will disintegrate and concede 2-3 in an "all in" game. I would not bet on this is Scotland were positive to advance if they get a draw, but I doubt they'll engage in such calculations. If they play a draw, they can only get through on an 'X' in the other match, which is hard to expect as both Austria and Italy can get through only if they win.
