When talking about the top contenders for medals, the four teams that have been ruling world handball the last few years are always brought up. But, given their performances so far, Sweden are definitely deserved to be regarded as a favorite for top spots. They did the group stage very well, struggled with Egypt and should have beat the French if it wasn't for that bad final period. Kim Andersson is back on the team today, this is the key game, and I think Sweden will be at their best. They have the top defense of the WC, they are diverse in offense and this should be a game very different to the one Poland and Sweden played in Denmark a year ago. Poland has done nothing to impress me, having lost to Germany and Denmark and recorded narrow wins over Argentina and Russia in very close games. I think they don't possess the quality that could see them stand up to mighty Sweden and they struggle with injuries a lot. Lijewski and probably Chrapowski are set to miss this game.
