The first game of this semi-final series went into overtime and I think that is the reason we have such a low margin, unrealistically low in my opinion. However, that first game was marked by disastrous shot percentages of both teams, Riga played well below their abilities, especially in the fourth quarter in which they scored only eight points. At the end they managed to win and I think it will be much easier for them to play today. In a regular season game, Riga won here by eight points, but they were focused on the VTB League then, and without their best player Robinson, as well as C. J. Harris, who came to the club later. The margin was higher by three points, and I think that it should be around 7-8 points today as well. Riga were close to the VTB League play-off, which is a confirmation of their quality, but they are eliminated now and maximally focused on the national championship. The first game was the best warning and I think they will go into this game maximally prepared. Liepajas are a decent team for Latvia's notions, but nothing more than that. They have on the roster two Lithuanian players and a modest American, who scores 8.4 points on average with 32% of shot in a prettly weak league. Riga's foreigneirs have more quality, and especially the domestic players, since anyone who is worth anthing is playing in Riga or Ventspils. In my opinion, the quality difference is big and if Riga won the first game by 8 points with their focus on other games and with a weakened roster, I expect them on at least ten point difference, but I wouldn't be surprised by a more convincing win.
