Rarely did we have such high margin on Strasbourg's home games this season. The margin is the consequence of the home game with Chalon they played a few weeks ago but this is the playoffs and I expect things to be very different. Strasbourg saw how tough Chalon can be on the offensive end and know they need to try and win through good defense today. They went over this margin in only 5 home games this season with their averages home being 137.8 points. The most important part of the season is to start and they cannot afford any slips at this point which is why I'm sure Strasbourg will be very fierce here. They played Nanterre some ten days ago and had the approach as if that was a playoffs game to limit their main rivals to only 49 points. Just a reminder' Nanterre have the most efficient attack in the league...Chalon can be dangerous offense wise but their game usually end at around 150 points. The average is boosted by games with weaker rivals. A glance through the starts reveals that their away games against Le Mans, Nancy, Dijon, Gravelines, Limoges, ASVEL finished at 140 points or less. Those are all teams with pretty good defensive ends. Strasbourg are one step above and given the significance of this game, this margin is 6-7 points too high in my opinion.
