A spot in this league next season at stake in this city derby

Both teams are in a very difficult position and every point truly means a lot in a bid to avoid relegation

Before the break Rayo recorded their favorite 2-2 score against Granada. The visitors will be only without center back Emiliano Velazquez, who got injured. That could be a problem since he's been one of Getafe's top players the last few weeks. 

This is a relegation battle match and by default we should expect a tough game without a lot of goals. But that doesn't seem likely today, and I will start with the stats.
