Novokuzneck are Medvescak's chance for new three points but one can never be too cautious

Medvescak first defeated Admiral and then Novosibirski home, displaying a very good game once again. Both the offense and the defense were doing great, which makes them optimistic ahead of the clash against the youngest and the worst team in the league. Medvescak kept on doing great in their third game of the new KHL season. They were faced with the toughest opponent so far in the third round but managed to win, displaying a much better game than last season. They are to face the weakest opponent so far and the youngest team in the league. Metallurg from Novokuznetsk are still without a win this season and this will be the 4th straight road game for them. 

Novosibirsk were putting a lot of pressure on Medvescak in early in the first period but the home team didn't stand down. They managed to fight back and took the lead when Glumac and Gysbers scored mid-period. Kinrade scored another goal early in the second period but Medvescak's game soon declined, which the visitors took advantage of to score 2 goals in a matter of 5 seconds.
