I don't understand why Italy are being the favorite to this extent as if they were playing a mediocre team. They have had problems over the summer and I don't expect Blengini managed to deal with those. The do have Juantorena now but do not have the important Birarelli. Canada are not a bad team. Granted, they did have the best summer but they did beat Russia, Brazil, Bulgaria...This is the first match, the stakes are high and I cannot agree with the odds at all. 4 sets are the reality given the quality of the teams here. Canada won a set against Italy even when they were a much worse team and I think they'll do the same today. Marathon offers the margin at 164,5 points.
