Thuringer are a great favorite in this match but it's doubtful whether they have enough power for full focus throughout the entire game. Thy had a very tough match in Croatia last round, which they settled in the last ten minutes (they were constantly behind until 40 minutes into the game). They have only 11 healthy players on the roster, most of which used up a lot of energy against Podravka's tough defense. Thuringer has a new CL challenge coming up next Sunday (FTC from Hungary). Thuringer were in the almost same situation ahead of the match with Blomberg last season. With only 19 players and without some injured players, they first beat Blomberg in the championship and them in the German Cup (32-24, 32-20). It was similar in their game early this year (31-20). The situation is now almost the same. We cannot expect any kind of a convincing win. Thuringen just want two points here and will try and get it through good defense.
