It is hard to find motivation for a serious approach in both teams in a situation when their managements announced that they failed to acquire a licence to play in the first league next year due to financial issues. Rosengarten were lost anyway, they are last and five points behind Goppingen who are secure in 12th position, so they registered for the second league next year.
- We talked about that decision in December and we all agreed that is best for the club to play in the second league next season - said Rosengarten's coordinator. Seven players already asked for contract termination, pivot Tegstedt has already been playing for Issy Paris for a few weeks. In this context, both teams will formally finish the season and in today's game we can expect a repeat of their game from Berlin (33-28), at least when it comes to the number of scored goals.
