A Norwegian cup quarterfinal will be hosted by Larvik. They're going through an intense competitive ryhthm, they played in Romania last week, beating Baia Mare in the CL second round, and will now play another CL round in three days, against the Slovenian Krim. They also have a new national championship match next Tuesday. They're definitely the favorite for winning both national titles, but the difference between them and other two-three teams in the Top 4 this season isn't that big anymore, at least not as much as it was last season. Their rotation slimmed down a bit, and Anja Edin, Wojtas and Stange are injured.
Vipers are one of the teams who could be a serious rival to Larvik this season. They've got good players Knippenborg, Kramer and Lipman, Kristiansen, Weigelt, Ulrika Olsson, Marta Tomac). Larvik beat the Vipers almost a month ago 29-20 (14-9) in the fifth round of the Norwegian championship. Larvik had it easier then because the Vipers only had 10 players in their roster then. Vipers are coming with 13 players today, they had time to get ready and the conditions are much more favorable for them than they were a month ago. I expect them to resist better tonight, and the difference they lose with to not be so big, max 7-8 goals.
